Bible Reading: Gen. 1: 26 - 31
Topic: Walking In Dominion
When God made man in His
Own Likeness, He blessed him and commissioned him to be FRUITFUL, to MULTIPLY,
and to SUBDUE the earth.
God also gave him DOMINION
over every living thing on earth.
The dominion includes
power over sicknesses, diseases, satan, demons and power of darkness.
Jesus said in Luke 10: 19
"Behold I give you power to tread
upon serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy and nothing shall
by any means hurt you."
This dominion over the
power of the enemy includes power to say No to sin and deny ungodliness and
worldly lust.
We cannot conquer satan,
demons and our problems if we fail to conquer sin. This is because sin gives
impetus and strength to satan. Rom. 6: 14 states that sin shall not have
dominion over us.
Often, intractable
problems that have defied every kind of prayer can be resolved when we
determine to break the hold of sin over our lives through repentance and
rededication to our lives to God.
Determine today to live a
life of righteousness and to depart from sin.
Repeat your prayer of
deliverance and healing and you will get a positive result.
Prayer:
God, my Father, please
give me the power to overcome sin, satan and the world and to walk in total
dominion, Amen
Memory Verse: Gen. 1: 27

in His Own Image, in the Image of God created He him; male and female created
He them"
