Daily Fountain 2017 - Show The Light

Saturday May 27

Bible Reading:     Eph. 4: 1 - 10
Topic:         Show The Light

Step by step advice on how we can live a good Christian life is given by Paul in today's passage.

First he urges us to live a life worthy of our calling - that is "walk our talk"

Second we should be humble, gentle, patient and tolerant

Third, we should keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace, since all believers in Christ belong to one body united under one Head, Christ Himself (1 Cor. 12: 12 - 26) and have one Father and God.

And since God has given each of us gifts and abilities which if used in submission to the Holy Spirit will strengthen the whole body of Christ, each of us must endeavour to put those gifts to good use.

Allow these divine admonitions to bring changes in your life. Learn to be humble, patient, tolerant and peace seeking.
Don't allow the world to set the standard of your lifestyle.

As you live in the world, don't allow the world to live in you.

From today, let your life convince people around you that you are indeed a child of God and a good representative of His Kingdom

Prayer
Make me Lord, a practical instrument for peace, love and unity in my family and other places of engagement, Amen.

Memory Verse             Eph.  4: 10
"He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
