Daily Fountain 2017 - Give Them All To Jesus

Friday June 30

Bible Reading:     Gen. 22: 1 - 14
Topic:         Give Them All To Jesus!

God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac which humanly speaking was a very hard thing for him to do.

However, on hearing from God, Abraham promptly obeyed. He took Isaac and his servants to the place of sacrifice.

As Abraham took his knife to slay his son, God stopped him and showed him a ram caught in the thicket by its horn.

This experience served to confirm that Abraham really feared God and loved God more than he loved Isaac his only son.

The offering of Isaac was a prototype and a foreshadow of that of Jesus Christ by God.

Abraham was willing to offer to God his best, his only son and the one of his old age. Abraham did not count it too much for him to give Isaac to God as a sacrifice.

God gave His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

We learn from Abraham that we should love God so wholeheartedly that there will be absolutely no possession, relationship, opportunity, credential, achievement and so on that we will not be ready to give as a sacrifice to God

Prayer
In Jesus Name, dear Lord, thank You for the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Help me to surrender all that I am and have to You, Amen.

Memory Verse             Gen. 22: 12
"And he (the Angel of God) said to Abraham, Lay not thine hand upon the lad (Isaac), neither do thou anything unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou has not withheld thy son, thine only son from me."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
