Daily Fountain 2017 - Nothing Is Too Hard For God To Do

Tuesday June 20

Bible Reading:     Gen. 18: 1 - 15
Topic:         Nothing Is Too Hard For God To Do

Abraham had three visitors he recognized to be divine beings and he willingly gave hospitality to them (vs. 1 - 5)

As they ate, they asked about Abraham's wife Sarah who was at the entrance to the tent listening to the conversation.

The Lord declared that Sarah would have a son in a year's time (v. 10).

Sarah laughed in disbelief because by her reckoning she was well past child bearing age (she was 90 years old). As she laughed, she asked "after I have worn out and my Master is old, will I now have this pleasure? Will I really have a child, now that I am old?" (vs. 12, 13)

God heard Sarah's laugh and questions and asked Abraham why did Sarah laugh and say "Will I really have a child now that I am old? Is anything too hard for the Lord?" (v. 13)

This question applies to us all too: what is it that you need God to do for you? is it healing, passing a hard wearisome examination, overcoming an obstacle, defeating satan's attacks? With God nothing shall be impossible for you. Only believe God's Word.

Do not look at your circumstances that may be telling you "impossible" or "too hard" for God to do for you.

Learn to live by faith and not your sight, for with God all things are possible.

God can do anything and everything, only believe

Prayer
Lord, help me to believe in Your all-sufficient and powerful ability to do everything including what appears hard and impossible, Amen.

Memory Verse             Gen. 18: 14a
"Is anything too hard for the Lord."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
