Daily Fountain 2017 - Run To Jesus For Salvation

Friday June 23

Bible Reading:     Gen. 17: 12 - 28
Topic:         Run to Jesus For Salvation

The young men had an opportunity to hear about heaven and hell preached to them clearly and convincingly but they decided not to give their lives to Christ.

They did not answer the 'what if heaven and hell prove to exist in the end?" question

Unfortunately as these two failed to consider this question, so there are many who have likewise ignored this question.

The second coming of Christ and God's sure judgment that will follow, we can compare with God's judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah (v. 14)

Lot seemed like a joke to his in-laws and the people of Sodom.

They did not escape for their lives and were thus destroyed by brimstone and fire.

Eternal torture and torment in hell fire awaits all who forsake the salvation that is in Christ Jesus (Heb. 2: 1 - 3; Rev. 20: 11. 12, 15)

Escape for your life and avoid ending your life in hell fire.

As the Angels took Lot and Lot's wife and were merciful to them (v. 16); so you have a warning to escape for your life

Prayer
Help me Oh Lord to heed and follow the Angel's leading men out of the doomed city of today's world to your heavenly city of salvation through Jesus Christ, Amen.

Memory Verse             Gen. 19: 17
"And it came to pass, when they (the Angels) had brought forth them (Lot, his wife and his two virgin daughters) abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life, look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain, escape to the mountain lest thou be consumed."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
