Daily Fountain 2017 - Isaac: The Child Of Promise

Monday June 26

Bible Reading:     Gen. 21: 1 - 8
Topic:         Isaac - The Child Of Promise

God promised to bless Abraham with a son through Sarah (Gen. 15:4; 17: 15, 21; 18: 10 - 14) and He fulfilled it when Abraham was 100 years and his wife 90 years of age.

This confirms God as having impeccable and trusted integrity. Whatever He says or promises, He does or fulfills.

What is that promise of God to you, which is yet to come to pass?
Trust and hold onto it and "Give Him no rest till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth" (Isa. 62: 7; Matt. 7:7)

Abraham kept his own part of the covenant with God in Gen. 17: 10, he circumcised Isaac (v. 4)

God is a covenant keeping God (Ps. 50: 5)

Have you asked anything from God? or have you made a vow or entered into any covenant with God? Abraham did (v. 4); Hannah did (1 Sam. 1: 24 - 28)

Abraham made a great feast when the child was weaned.

There is nothing to compare with the thrill we have when our desire is fulfilled by God.

Prayer
Father as You fulfilled Your promise by giving Abraham and Sarah a son, so I pray You to answer my prayer to You, Amen.

Memory Verse             Gen. 21: 5
"And Abraham was an hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
