Daily Fountain 2017 - A Time Of Rejoicing

Saturday June 24

Bible Reading:     Luke 1: 57 - 66
Topic:         A Time Of Rejoicing

That which was impossible with me was made possible with God

Elizabeth, who was adjudged barren was blessed with a child at her old age. Men and women gathered to rejoice over what the Lord had done for the family (v. 58).

Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning - Ps. 30: 5b

There was a fulfillment of the words of the angel of the Lord.

Note the issues raised by the angel in Luke 1: 13 - 17. The name John was not common amongst the people at that time but the miracle that followed the writing of the name by Zacharias was a confirmation that the child John was special and was born for a special mission of God.

No one can alter or stop God's plan for you. It may be delayed but as you trust God whole-heartedly, know that God will bring joy to every situation in your life.

Prayer
Turn my sorrow into joy Oh Lord, Amen.

Memory Verse             Luke 1: 64
"And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
