Daily Fountain 2017 - Growth Through Fellowship

Tuesday June 6

Bible Reading:     Acts 2: 25 - 41
Topic:         Growth Through Fellowship

About 3000 people gave their lives to Christ when Peter preached the Good News about Christ on the day of Pentecost in Jerusalem.

These new Christians were united with the other believers taught by the Apostles and included in the prayer meetings and fellowship.

New believers in Christ need to be in groups where they can learn God's Word, pray and mature in the faith. Those who come to Jesus newly should seek out other believers for fellowship, prayer and teaching. That is the way for them to grown

What are you doing in your little corner to encourage people to come to Christ or to ensure that new converts do not get discouraged?

Are you holding tight to what God has given to you instead of using it to build up His Church?

Many youths have left for "greener pastures" due to lack of care and concern. Ask yourself what you can do to stem this tide.

May the Holy Spirit today enable you contribute to keep the Church alive in living faith, fellowship and growth

Prayer
Oh Lord help me to contribute to the growth and development of Your Church through unity, prayer faith and fellowship, Amen.

Memory Verse             Acts 2: 36
"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made that same Jesus, Whom ye have crucified both Lord and Christ."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
