Daily Fountain 2017 - We Are Predestined To Eternal Life Through Christ

Sunday June 11

Bible Reading:     Eph. 1: 3 - 14
Topic:         We Are Predestined To Eternal Life Through Christ

The letter to the Ephesians develops the theme of unity by mentioning the way in which God the Father had chosen us as His People. how we have been forgiven and set free from our sins through Jesus Christ His Son and how God's promise of eternal salvation has been fulfilled for us by the Holy Spirit.

God kept His eternal plan a secret from the foundation of the World and at the appointed time, He has revealed it through His Son through Whom He chose those who believed to be His own adopted sons and who belong to His family. He gave such the rights of inheritance having been accepted in the beloved of Christ.

The ignorance of our position and inheritance in Christ is one major problem of many Christians. God has called us and blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

In v. 8 we read that "He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding".

Lastly,  because we trusted in Him, when we heard the Word of Truth, we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise which is the guarantee of our inheritance.

What else do we need?
We are encouraged to constantly remember and appropriate the blessings God has attached to our choice to be holy and blameless and predestined to salvation through Christ forever.

Let us not lose sight of our great inheritance in and through Christ

Prayer
O God, give to me and renew me daily by Your Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Christ, Amen.

Memory Verse             Eph. 1: 3
"Blessed be the God, and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ."

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
