Daily Fountain 2017 - An Empty Tomb

Tuesday April 18

Bible Reading:     Luke. 24: 1 - 12

Topic:         An Empty Tomb

In this version of the resurrection story, two men met the women with the glorious news of Christ's resurrection.

In contrast to the mournful shadows of the tomb, their garments were brilliant and seemed to illuminate the tomb.

They asked the terrified women: 'why are you looking for the living among the dead? He is not here, He is risen'.

Even though He had told them of the Cross and the Resurrection, they didn't understand the message or the meaning of His Words - until now!

Like the women, we are often very slow to understand and appropriate all that God has promised us in His Word. Be encouraged to believe that God will always keep His Word.

Jesus Christ conquered death, the grave and hell forever and continues to give eternal life to all those who place their faith in Him.

In 1 Cor. 15: 12- 15, Paul tells us that if Jesus hadn't risen from the dead, we all would have reason to grieve.

If you are trapped in sin and see no avenue of escape, the good news is that Jesus died and rose again to set you free.

If you come to Him, He will be there to hear you, to help and to save you.

Jesus is Alive!

Prayer:

Thank You Father for the proof that Jesus lives, Amen

Memory verse:   Luke. 24: 7

"Saying, the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
