Daily Fountain 2017 - I Have Seen The Lord

Friday April 21

Bible Reading:     John 20: 1-18

Topic:         I Have Seen The Lord!

The resurrection of Jesus is the GREATEST EVENT in human history and marks the most profound demonstration of God's Power.

In commemorating the resurrection on Easter day we rejoice that we serve a Living God unlike man-made religions whose founders are dead and buried. We also live in the hope of resurrection to eternal life at the end of time.

In St. John's account of the resurrection, Mary Magdalene from whom Jesus cast out evil spirits (Lk. 8: 2-3) stands out. She in appreciation dedicated her lifetime to serving the Lord.

At the sepulchre when others including two of Jesus' Disciples gave up hope of seeing Jesus' Body, she tarried. She was rewarded by being the first to see the Risen Saviour and Lord and to announce it to the world: "I have seen the Lord, and He has spoken to me" (v. 18)

Have you experienced the Risen Lord and the Power of His Resurrection?
And are you witnessing His Resurrection to all around you?
If you are, be sure of His promise "..... that your labour is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Cor. 15: 58)

Prayer:

Lord help me to always appreciate Your grace upon my life brought by Your death and resurrection, Amen

Memory Verse    John 20: 17

"Jesus saith unto her, Touch Me not, for I am not yet ascended to My Father; but go to my brethren and say unto them, I ascend unto My Father and your Father and to My God and your God"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
