Daily Fountain 2017 - Who Is Jesus To You

Thursday April 20

Bible Reading:     Luke 24: 36 - 49

Topic:         Who Is Jesus To You?

While His Disciples were hiding in the upper room for fear of the authorities, Jesus miraculously appeared in their midst and greeted them.

They were terrified and thought they had seen a ghost.

Jesus resurrected body was unique, no longer subject to the laws of nature. He could appear in a locked room, yet He could be touched and He could eat.

However Jesus still showed them the nail scars in His Hands and His Feet to prove that He was real. He offered to let them touch Him.

Today, people need to realize that Jesus Christ is alive. He is real and those who trust Him as Saviour become God's Children and have hope of spending eternity with God (Jn. 14: 6; Acts. 16: 31)

Is Jesus just a story on the page of a book to you? or is He real in your heart?

Just knowing about Jesus and what He did will not save your soul. You have to know Him in a personal and real way before you can be saved from your sins and from an eternity in hell.

Who is Jesus to you?
Jesus posed that question to His Disciples (Matt. 16: 15- 16)
Peter had the right answer, do you?

Prayer:

Lord I invite You into my heart, please take control of my life, Amen

Memory Verse:   Luke 24: 47

"And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name among all nations, starting from Jerusalem"

Daily Fountain 2017 - It Is To Your Advantage

Sunday May 21 5th Sunday After Easter Bible Reading:      John 16: 5 - 22 Topic:          It Is To Your Advantage In life we must be ready to endure some level of discomfort in the present, in order to enjoy comfort in the future. The disciples had become comfortable with the presence and involvement of Jesus in their lives, but Jesus announced to them that it was necessary for Him to return to His Father in order that the Holy Ghost might come. If Jesus stayed, He would be only in one place at a time; but His Spirit would be everywhere at the same time. The disciples had to recognize therefore that growth and maturity come with sacrifice which involves willingness to step out of our comfort zone. God knows the best for you. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit. Desire progress but don't reject the change that brings it. Yes, you may be in an uncomfortable sit...

Daily Fountain 2017 - 2310 - Building Out Of Ruins

Monday October 23 Bible Reading:     Acts. 15: 12 - 22 Topic:                  Building Out Of Ruins When you pass by a collapsed building, what comes to your mind? When you see a place devastated by war, what strikes you? Ruin, lots of ruins! dashed irrecoverable hope, you lament on what it used to be, when it was standing previously. God can change ruins and rebuild from new edifices. This is how God deals with our lives when it appears we have been ruined. We should not remain in the ruins around us, but on to God and allow Him to come and rebuild them for us and others. Prayer Lord, let me know how to make a building out of ruins. May I not be steeped in failed traditions to the detriment of revival in Jesus Name, Amen. Memory Verse             Acts. 15:...
